Transfers
It is possible for existing tenants to request a transfer to another ccha property. To be eligible for a transfer you must meet certain requirements and have approval from the Neighbourhood Services Manager to be accepted onto the waiting list. It is also dependent on availability of homes within your chosen area.
Step 1: Please download our Transfer Policy to assess whether you are eligible.
Step 2: If eligible, download a Transfer Application Form and return to our Neighbourhood Services Team.
Eligible applications are pointed based on their urgency and need for re-housing. Please be aware that you will not be offered a transfer if you are in rent arrears.
Mutual exchanges
ccha is partnered with HomeSwapper, a free service which helps you swap your housing association home with other social residents.
All you need to do is go to the HomeSwapper homepage and register in the top right hand corner. Follow the steps to complete your registration. Please be aware that ccha will need to approve your application before you have full access. On the form, fill in as much information as possible about your home and the home you are looking for, and the system will be able to match you with your ideal properties.

Once you find a suitable swap partner, please fill in and return our Mutual Exchange Application Form and mark it for the attention of the Neighbourhood Services Team.
