Each year, we hold a variety of events you can attend. These include:
- Annual resident open event
- Estate action days
- Resident meetings
- Leadership Team estate visits
These events give you and staff a chance to meet, get to know who is who, raise any issues or concerns, give feedback and to check in on how things are going.
Annual resident open event
Each year, we hold a resident open event in the office on Sheldon Street. This is a great chance to meet others from ccha, the board, our contractors and other residents to get any questions answered, give feedback and enjoy some food and drink.
This year, the open event will be on the 10 and 11 June 2026 and we will be putting on an evening session due to popular demand.

Estate action days
Our neighbourhoods team goes out to various estates a few times a year to meet residents. They'll send out communications a few weeks before to let you know when they are and will try and knock on your door on the day.
Resident meetings
At our older persons schemes, our housing service team hold regular resident meetings or resident surgeries for residents to come together to discuss a variety of topics. Dates for these will be on your noticeboard or you'll receive a leaflet a week or so before.
Leadership Team estate visits
Every two months our Directors and members of the board visit various estates to see things first hand and meet the residents living there. This helps them to connect the work they are doing to those receiving the service by listening to residents directly, understanding the community and by checking on the condition of the homes. We'll write to you when they are due to visit so you can have the opportunity to meet them. Since April 2025, they have held three estate visit days, visiting a total of 14 estates.
