Reporting an accident
May 26th 2021, by Rachel Luney
In the event of an accident, it is ccha’s responsibility as your landlord to ensure the accurate recording and reporting of the incident so that we can address any issues and prevent further injuries or accidents. We take accidents very seriously but can only act on them if we know about them.
If you, a guest or a family member are involved in an accident in your home, in a communal area, in one of our car parks or outside one of our properties, please let us know as soon as possible.
You can report an accident by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or phoning your Tenancy Management Officer. Please attach images if relevant and ensure any repair related issues are reported to Axis as well by completing this form. Once we have received your email reporting the accident, we will be in contact to ask for more details and an investigation will take place.
We also need to know about any near misses. A near miss is an incident where no one was injured, and no damage done but could become an accident in the future if no preventative measures are put in place.
By reporting an accident or near-miss promptly, it helps us be proactive and prevent further accidents from occurring. Thank you for your cooperation, and if you have any questions, please email email@example.com or call 0800 054 6710.
